Hari Raya operating hours for MYXpats Centres in Malaysia

The MYXpats Centres will be closed on 24 April 2023 (Monday), during which counter, telephone, and email services will not be available to clients.

With Hari Raya around the corner, the Expatriates Services Division (ESD), Immigration Department of Malaysia, has shared the MYXpats Centres' updated operating hours during the period. 

The following are to be noted:

  • The MYXpats Centres (located in Surian Tower and Penang) will be closed on 24 April 2023 (Monday). During this period, the MYXpats Centre counter, telephone and email services will not be available to clients.

  • The cut-off dates for the submission and collection of passports will be:
    • Passport Submission: Before 12pm on 19 April 2023 (Wednesday)
    • Passport Collection: 20 April 2023 (Thursday) onwards, or after the centres resume operations.

  • The cut-off dates for payments for pass delivery are:
    • West Malaysia: 
      • Payment: Before 12pm on 14 April (Friday)
      • Pass delivery: Between 17-21 April
    • East Malaysia:
      • Payment: Before 12pm on 11 April (Tuesday)
      • Pass delivery: Between 17-21 April

During this time, companies/talent will still be able to access the system and submit applications online. All applications submitted through the ESD or the Residence-Pass Talent (RP-T) system on 21 April (Friday) will be processed on 25 April (Tuesday).

For assistance, clients have been directed to the MYXPATS helpdesk (for matters regarding Employment Pass, Professional Visit Pass, and related passes), and the RP-T Care team (for RP-T matters).
