IWD 2023: Let's #EmbraceEquity together

Dear Readers,

As a leader, it is important to recognise that providing equal opportunities is not enough. People start from different places, and true inclusion requires equitable action.

This is why the 2023 International Women's Day theme of #EmbraceEquity is particularly significant. While many prioritise equality, equity tends to be overlooked. It is critical to understand the difference between equity and equality.

To spread the message, the team at Human Resources Online has put together multiple stories over the coming weeks on three separate concepts, all surrounding the IWD theme. This year, we have a power-packed line-up of leaders sharing how they find the balance in embracing both equity and equality at the workplace, and even in their personal lives.

We will be updating this anchor message with all of our #IWD2023 coverage in the weeks to come. So bookmark this page and revisit often to get the freshest and best DEI perspectives in Asia!

Happy International Women's Day!
